Door systems across Halton Hills
We work throughout Halton Hills — Premier Gateway Employment Area, Georgetown Industrial Area, Acton Industrial Area, Mansewood Industrial Area and the blocks around them. Whether the address says Georgetown or Acton, it’s all Halton Hills to us — same crews, same dispatch. The buildings here are mostly transportation, warehousing and logistics, advanced manufacturing and food and beverage processing, and each puts different demands on a door: traffic volume, insurance and fire requirements, and how much downtime an opening can afford. Halton Hills’s 62,951 residents keep those buildings busy.
We have completed 66 door jobs in Halton Hills since 2020 — commercial doors, automatic doors, commercial glass and aluminum doors and hollow metal and steel doors — including work on Steeles Avenue, Main Street South, Main Street North and Brigden Gate.

Broken doors in Halton Hills: we dispatch 24/7.
Halton Hills is roughly a 40-minute run from our Mississauga shop — less if a technician is already in the area — so a truck is usually on site the same day.
Emergency board-up, security and make-safe first — permanent repair scheduled after.
Common questions about doors
What are the disadvantages of a steel door?
Weight, thermal bridging, and the fact that dents stay. A 16-gauge leaf is heavy enough to need a correctly sized closer and hinges that actually get maintained, steel conducts cold unless the assembly is thermally broken, and a door hit by a pallet truck keeps the dent until the section is cut out and re-welded. It is also plainer than wood or glass, which is why it is specified for back-of-house rather than for a lobby. Against that: it holds its shape, it can carry a fire label, and every part of it can be repaired in place — which is why it remains the default commercial opening in Ontario.
Can you service a sliding door another company installed?
Yes — most of the sliders we look after were installed by somebody else. We are dealers for Record, Assa Abloy and Entrematic, and we work on other makes as well; where a board or carrier is obsolete we say so rather than chase a part that no longer exists, and quote the operator replacement against the framing you already have. An AAADM inspection on an inherited door is usually the least expensive way to find out what condition it is really in.
Can a frameless glass door be automatic, or take a maglock?
Yes to both, provided it is planned before the glass is made. All-glass doors are regularly fitted with overhead automatic operators, and with electromagnetic locks and access control using purpose-made patch fittings and top rails that carry the hardware. The constraint is the same one as above: the cut-outs have to be in the glass order.
Are stainless steel doors the same as hollow metal doors?
They are built the same way — two formed face sheets around a core in a steel frame — but in stainless sheet rather than carbon steel, usually with welded and ground seams so there is nothing to trap water or product. So a stainless door is a hollow metal door in a different metal, and it hangs, latches and is repaired the same way. The differences are the grade, the finish, and the sanitary detailing.
What is a counter shutter?
A rolling shutter sized for a service opening rather than a doorway. It coils above the opening exactly like a full-height shutter, but the curtain comes down onto a counter or sill instead of the floor, so the opening it closes is typically waist height and a few feet wide. Serveries, pharmacy dispensaries, parts counters, ticket windows, concession stands and coat checks all use them, and the point is the same in each: secure the room behind the counter without putting a door in the wall.
Can you replace just the glass in a storefront, or does the framing have to come out?
Almost always just the glass. Storefront framing is designed to be reglazed: the stops come off, the gaskets come out, the broken lite is removed and the new unit is set into the same pocket with new gaskets and stops. The framing only has to come out when it has been bent or corroded, when a vehicle or a break-in has distorted the opening, or when the new glass make-up is too thick for the existing pocket — which is the usual catch on upgrading an old single-glazed storefront to a sealed unit.
Four decades of doors for names Ontario knows — Canada’s Wonderland, Tim Hortons, Canadian Tire, the LCBO, Metrolinx, Marriott & Hilton hotels, the University of Toronto — plus thousands of businesses across the GTA. Dependable people, quality products, since 1979.
