FEATURES
The Open Style Folding Security Grilles come with many unique features. Firstly, the finish can be clear anodized or acrylic paint in white, black, medium bronze #40, and light bronze #26. Secondly, they have sleek and unique looks. Thirdly, they offer outstanding protection. Furthermore, they come with various lock systems.
SPECIFICATION
Curtain
The manufacturers make the curtain with vertical rods 5/16″ (8mm) in diameter. Also, the spacing between the rods is 2-5/8” (67mm) in a brick pattern. Furthermore, these rods have links that are flat horizontal bars of 1/8″ x 5/8″ x 6-5/8″ (3mm x 16mm x 168mm). Besides, these bars have spacing between each other vertically every 12″ (305mm) by aluminum sleeves of 1/2″ (13mm) in diameter. Additionally, the manufacturers fit the top and bottom of each section with an aluminum panel 4″ (102mm) high. Moreover, This panel comprises an aluminum extrusion 1/16” (1,6mm) thick and includes modules with a 15° angle between them to facilitate the closure’s operation.
Locking
The lead post shall have a hook bolt lock with MobilFlex cylinders on each side. Additionally, the lead post shall engage a full-height wall jamb. Also, the trailing post shall be self-locking at the top and bottom inside the storage pocket. Furthermore, free-floating intermediate positions shall be at all curves and recommended intervals of 10 feet (3m) or 5 feet (1,5m) for countertop units. Intermediate posts shall have self-adjusting spring-loaded drop bolts activated from the inside only. Drop bolts shall engage dustproof stainless steel receptacles.
Track
The curtain shall be hung from an overhead track 1-5/16” (33mm) wide by 1-9/16” (40mm) high. The way shall be aluminum alloy 6063-T5. Furthermore, curves, where required, shall be 14” (356mm) radius standard.
Stacking
Stacking shall not exceed a depth of 1.15” per foot of closure width plus 3” for each post (lead, end, or intermediate). (95mm/lin. m + 76mm per post). Full egress doors add 7” (176mm).
Finish
The finish shall be standard clear anodized.
