Canuck Door Systems completed the supply and installation of insulated steel exterior doors for warehouses with tempered glass transoms at a newly constructed multi-unit warehouse complex in the summer of 2023. The project began in the summer of 2022, with doors and frames sourced from All Steel Doors Ltd, a trusted supplier known for high-quality, durable products. Despite industry-wide production delays stemming from the COVID-19 aftermath, all materials were delivered to the site in a timely manner.
Canuck Door Systems was awarded the contract to install the doors, ensuring proper foaming and perimeter sealing for optimal insulation and performance. The installation process, which spanned 6-8 months across three buildings, presented several challenges. These included oversized door openings that required adjustments, coordinating work alongside multiple trades in the same areas, and dealing with winter conditions while maintaining strict safety protocols for the team.
Some doors were removed after initial installation to facilitate the movement of large machinery and equipment in and out of the buildings during construction, offering temporary flexibility during the installation phase.
Despite these challenges, Canuck’s team executed the project to the highest standard, delivering on schedule and within budget. The installation adhered to strict safety standards and building codes, ensuring performance and aesthetic appeal for the warehouse complex.
