For this project, Canuck Door Systems was contracted as the subcontractor responsible for the supply and installation of glass aluminum windows, doors, bifold systems, and automatic sliding doors for a new restaurant location in Mississauga. Working closely with the general contractor, our team ensured that all systems aligned with the architectural vision while meeting strict performance and safety standards.

Most project goals were achieved as planned following the initial site visit. Minor adjustments to product sizing were required to accommodate site conditions. One notable challenge involved modifying a window design to accommodate an unexpected steel column not shown in the original drawings. Our team adapted quickly, dividing the window into two sections to maintain structural integrity and visual consistency.
Timeline & Installation Process
With the restaurant’s opening date already scheduled, meeting the project timeline was critical. From shop drawings and production to installation and final quality checks, every phase progressed smoothly. Final Results & Success
Following installation, minor adjustments were made, including sweep alignment to prevent air leakage and repositioning the wave sensor for the automatic sliding door.
