For this project, Canuck Door Systems acted as the subcontractor responsible for the supply and installation of glass aluminum windows, storefront doors, and an automatic handicap operator. Working alongside Avcon Construction, our team delivered a complete glazing solution designed for durability, functionality, and modern curb appeal.

The primary goal was to complete the installation before Christmas, ensuring the building could open as scheduled. This timeline presented challenges due to manufacturer backlogs during the holiday season and the approaching winter shutdown. Despite these constraints, careful planning and efficient execution allowed us to meet—and exceed—the project deadline.
Scope of Work
The project included high-performance Windspec glass aluminum systems, selected for their reliability and clean architectural finish:
- Storefront Framing: Windspec 655 Series
- Commercial Doors: Windspec 200 Series
- Glass: Insulated, tinted, tempered glass for enhanced thermal performance and safety
- Accessibility: Installation of an automatic handicap operator for code compliance and ease of access
These materials ensured a strong balance between aesthetics, energy efficiency, and long-term performance.
